Playgroup Tips & Reminders

Playgroups are for any child who lives in Clinton County ages 0-5. Planned activities are developmentally and age appropriate. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

All playgroups are held at the Clinton County RESA Education Center, 4179 S. US 27, St. Johns. Please check below for community events and playgroup schedule.

Things to remember:

Dress in play clothes - we can get messy!
Children learn through play and you are their first and best teacher. So be ready to play and get messy together!
Please do not bring a sick child or adult (Thank You!)
We would like to discourage the use of cell phones during group. If you need to take a call, we understand, but please try to reserve this time for your children.

If Clinton County RESA is closed for weather, we will not be having playgroups. Please call if in doubt. Clinton County RESA (989)224-6831.

Health/Safety Precautions:
Frequent hand washing and sanitation will be implemented. We ask you not to bring children to playgroup if you or your child have experienced any of the following symptoms within the previous 24 hours:

fever or chills
cough
sore throat
congestion or runny nose
nausea or vomiting
diarrhea

It is extremely important to stay home when sick until at least 24 hours after no longer having a fever (temperature of 100.4 or higher) or signs of a fever (chills, feeling very warm, flushed appearance, or sweating) without the use of fever-reducing medicine (e.g., Tylenol).
